Jennifer Simpson

Quality Coordinator

Jennifer Simpson holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Illinois State University. She joined TAP in May 2024 bringing with her over 20 years of experience working with children and adolescents diagnosed with autism, mental health disorders, and developmental disabilities.

Jennifer has experience working with children and families in a variety of community settings which include daycares, foster care, intact care, residential care, and outpatient rehabilitation. Most recently, Jennifer served as the Manager of Care Coordination at Easterseals Central Illinois where she provided services as a TAP partner. Responsibilities included training and supervising ASD Clinic Coordinators, managing the coordination of the multidisciplinary ASD diagnostic clinics, providing Autism New Diagnosis Orientation training, continuous process improvement, and reporting deliverables under the TAP grant. In addition, Jennifer has participated in community groups such as the AOK network, LIC, Safe From the Start, and Safe Kids.

Jennifer’s firsthand knowledge of autism, direct service provision, non-profit leadership, and grant reporting will help ensure that TAP and it’s partnering agencies continue to provide quality programming to families throughout the state of Illinois.
